#16 – Nature’s Own on Sandstone

After an amazing, extended week revisiting the region I spent the first 30 or so years of my life in, I feel like the Tin Man upon receiving his heart; old truths, long forgotten, mix with new revelations to buoy me up.

The chance sighting of this happenstance symbol of eternal impermanence (there’s a concept), imprinted on the native stone of the foothills I grew up scrambling over, is but one small instance of the potent brew that I pulled in through my very pores during the visit and which I remain determined to not only retain but nurture.

Brother, I could see my skull: to work!

What a great post and accompanying imagery (both visual and mental)! Though I was only present for a bit of it, I imagine that you “pulled in a lot of other potent brews” during your visit, too.

So good to see you again, cae….
