Nate, a coworker of mine, reminded me today of the old saw that, if a woman touches her hair whilelooking at you, she is attracted to you.
Now I thought about this and realized I couldn’t recall any woman ever looking at me and touching her hair, unless it was my wife or mother, and I didn’t figure that counted as by touching, I don’t suppose grabbing great handfuls of the stuff and yanking it out by the roots is what is meant.
The whole thing is suspect to me, anyway. I mean, what does Sinead O’Conner touch when she’s attracted to someone? What if a woman is just brushing her bangs back out of her eyes when she happens to glance at you? Nah, I prefer more straightforward and easy-to-read signals, such as someone smiling at me when they catch my eye or just humping my leg.
