the 60’s, man: the 60’s<\/p>\n
it was the parents who were the idiots
\nthe parents you couldn’t trust

\nThe parents and the old people.<\/p>\n

Now that I’m,

\nnot just an older person

\nmost importantly
\nboth a PARENT and
\na KID AT HEART
\nit’s the kids
\nIt’s the kids who are wrong<\/p>\n
I mean,

\nthey don’t even understand
\nfashion
\nor pop-culture
\nat ALL<\/p>\n
the pants – the hair – the bands<\/p>\n
And their music
\nit’s all soulless
\nand trite
\nit’s been done before<\/p>\n
What I’ve learned

\nPretty much
\nif you’re not me?
\nYou’re wrong.<\/p>\n
